Every move gives you something to think about, and no two games feel exactly the same.

That's the idea behind Chessroom, a small web project focused on making chess easy to access and enjoyable to play.

Keeping Things Simple

While working on Chessroom, I wanted the experience to feel familiar. A classic wooden-style chessboard, simple controls, and a layout that works on both desktop and mobile devices.

The website also includes a local two-player mode, so two people can enjoy a game together on the same device.

A Project That Keeps Growing

Chessroom is still a project I'm working on and improving. There's always something to adjust, whether it's the design, gameplay experience, or how everything works on different screen sizes.

If you'd like to see what I've been building, you can check out Chessroom

I'll be sharing more about the project and what I learn along the way.
